Data Center 01 is one of the first Data Centers in Greece. The total investment for DC01 exceeds 300 million Euros and is part of the French company Data4 plan to become the top provider of data centers in Europe.
This campus is located in an industrial zone, ensuring proximity to important energy resources. In particular, ATH1 is built on a plot of 75 acres in Peania and will be supplied with a capacity of up to 90 MW.
Data4’s goal is to achieve BREEAM certification with an “Excellent” rating for its data centers in Greece. This certification covers key criteria such as energy efficiency, water management, sustainable materials such as low-carbon concrete, and biodiversity conservation. By adhering to these strict standards, Data4 will be one of the first in Europe and the first in Greece to have BREEAM-certified data centers, setting a new benchmark for sustainability in the industry.
